STAFF

King's Wood Montessori School is staffed by two lead teachers, three teachers, and one administrator. All staff have been trained in Montessori methodology. Both lead teachers are fully certified Montessori teachers; one with American Montessori Society certification and one with Association Montessori International certification. One teacher has completed her Montessori training through Northeast Montessori. All three teachers have completed the weeklong Montessori Overview Training Program in addition to numerous Montessori workshops and classes. 

All staff have been certified for their positions by our licensing agency, The Massachusetts Office for Child Care Services. 

Staff turnover is rare….one lead teacher has been here for 33 years; the other for 22 years; the teachers have been here for 15, 12 and 2 years; two of whom have additional years of experience with Montessori when their children were students here. The administrator has been involved with the school for 14 years; 5 as a involved parent, 7 as a teacher and 2 as administrator.
